WFSBP Awards Overview

Lifetime Achievement Award:

The WFSBP Lifetime Achievement Award is intended for senior research scientists (MD, PhD or equivalent) whose lifework has significantly influenced today‘s field of biological psychiatry. The Lifetime Achievement Award will include a monetary prize of €1.000 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry.

Award for Excellence in Education:

The WFSBP Award for Excellence in Education is to acknowledge outstanding and innovative education in biological psychiatry including the implementation of new interactive media. The Award for Excellence in Education will include a monetary prize of €1.000 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry.

Research Prize:

The WFSBP Research Prize is intended for WFSBP members (MD, PhD or equivalent) whose current scientific work has had an important impact in the field of clinical and/or basic research in the area of biological psychiatry. The Research Prize will include a monetary prize of €1.000 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry.

Young Investigator Award:

The Young Investigator Award recognizes excellence in the scholarly activity of early career researchers by providing the opportunity to attend the Congress in Istanbul, Türkiye. The Young Investigator Award will include a travel grant of €400 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry.
