WFSBP is now accepting Young Investigator Award, Award for Excellence in Education, Lifetime Achievement and Research Prize nominations for the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry. Learn more about each award below and submit nominations by 9 February 2023.
WFSBP Awards Overview
Lifetime Achievement Award:
The WFSBP Lifetime Achievement Award in Biological psychiatry is intended for senior research scientists (MD, PhD or equivalent), whose lifework has significantly influenced the field of biological psychiatry. The Lifetime Achievement Award will include a monetary prize of €1.000, free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry, and the opportunity to present at the Congress.
Award for Excellence in Education:
The WFSBP Excellence in Education Award in Biological psychiatry is intended for senior research scientists (MD, PhD or equivalent), whose lifework has significantly influenced education in biological psychiatry. The Award for Excellence in Education will include a monetary prize of €1.000 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry.
Research Prize:
WFSBP will recognize researcher who has made exceptional contributions to the research in the field of biological psychiatry. The Research Prize will include a monetary prize of €1.000, free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry, and the opportunity to present at the Congress.
Young Investigator Award:
In recognition of the importance of academic exchange, WFSBP annually selects emerging young scholars from across the globe. The Young Investigator Award recognizes excellence in scholarly activity by junior researchers by providing the opportunity to attend the 16th World Congress in Istanbul, Turkey. The Young Investigator Award will include a travel grant of €400 and free registration to the 16th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry
